eFiction : Automated Archive Software - Software [Linked by: Rob1 screen 02/04/06]eFiction is free, open source software for creating and maintaining fiction archives. It’s based on an earlier script by Rivka and requires php and mysql support. I’d say this is one of the most popular available packages out there if you’re looking to start your own fanfic archive- either for hosting your own work or the work of others. It’s also handy for maintaining a recommendation site- though it’s not what’s used here. Of the freely available scripts- eFiction is the one I’d choose.
The Favorites Tracker is a neat site I wrote that allows you to keep track of your favorite Harry Potter fan fiction stories on multiple fan fiction sites. It lets you quickly find out when new chapters have been added so you can jump right into reading them.
I also have a list of my favorite fan fiction stories on another web page of mine here. All of them are compatible with the Favorites Tracker.
