HEE! This short future fic gave me a happy. It begins with Clark stuck in Singapore, his flight derailed by a monsoon, and his ability to use more ‘super’ means of transport jammed up by the need to keep his reporter cover intact. When a mix-up at the hotel results in his having to share a room with Lionel Luthor, things get amusing. At least they do for Clark’s husband, Lex. Seems the elder Luthor has an odd sleep disorder. I won’t go into the details, out of good taste (snerk) and an unwillingness to spoil the surprise. Happily, Lex does offer up this bit of advise:
“It’s better to sleep left,” Lex advised in his almost-hysterical voice. “Sleep left and maybe build some sort of pillow fort--”
Snerk. It’s cute, and funny, and well written. Well worth the time it will take to read. As an added bonus, I really enjoyed the idea that Lex, Clark and Lionel might eventually enjoy a future in which they are at peace with each other- as unlikely an event as that may be. Enjoy!
