Just marking this WIP for a further look once it’s done. The premise has Clark meeting Lex for the first time during the summer after his first year of college. Clark takes a job as an intern for LexCorp, and Lex takes a shine to the friendly young man. The story isn’t my usual type, given that it’s told from Clark’s POV. However, it’s a great Clark voice. It has the sweetness and somewhat self-conscious dorkiness that I loved about S1 Clark, but in a grown up package. There’s also mystery and danger, involving corporate plots and assassination attempts. Pete and Chloe make nice additions, with their growing romance a backdrop to the larger story. The also work as ‘scoobies’ in Clark’s efforts to clear Lex’s name in a murder investigation. Strong writing, nice charactered integration, a great Clark voice, and Lex/Lionel conflict- this looks to be a good one. I’ll check back when it’s done.
