So, the second season starts up, leaves everyone but me wanting nice, happy, fluffy-bunny Clex- and I want… THIS. Mmm mmm good. This is set slightly in the future and begins as so many stories do- with Clark saving Lex from a kidnap plot. Sorta. I really can’t imagine the events it will take to drive Clark and Lex to be true enemies, and this story isn’t meant to address said issues. However, if the day ever comes, this is how I see their relationship ending up. It’s just a boiling mix of hatred and anger and hurt and love and need and seeeeexxxxxx. Beautifully written little gut-punch of a story about two men who are bound together in all of the best ways- and all of the worst.
